The course program consists of the following sections: (1) First-Year Courses, (2) Special Courses, (3) Personal Qualification Workshops, and (4) Doctoral Workshops. The First-Year Courses cover macroeconomics, microeconomics, and econometrics. Within the Special Courses internationally renowned researchers provide an overview of their respective fields of research. Personal Qualification Workshops strengthen the skills of academic writing and paper presentation. The annual Doctoral Workshops provide doctoral students the opportunity to present their research projects, obtain feedback from experienced researchers, and exchange ideas with other doctoral students.
